Our vision for the F.E.W. Empowering people, finding solutions conference is to address the current issue that by 2050, the global population is expected to grow to 9 billion. Focusing on strategies around reducing food waste, enhancing food security and improving water and energy efficiency, the conference will explore solutions that promote sustainability of food, energy and water resources in the Kawartha Lakes region and beyond.
